I’m an associate professor of English and literary arts at the University of Denver, where I teach a broad range of courses on eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British literature and offer graduate seminars (“The Sublime”; “Lyric Theory”; “Monstrous Materialisms”; “Negative Capability”; “Pride and Prejudice and Pedagogy”) that connect literary history, critical theory, and creative writing. I work across genres and am particularly invested in discussions about the Gothic, literary experiment, and reproductive justice broadly construed.
